Amarillo, TX - Toot'n Totum announced today the installation of 17 Spirit Pumps, located in each of the communities they serve throughout the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma, and Kansas. A donation of 5 cents per gallon of all fuel sold through the Spirit Pumps will be passed along to the high schools, designated to enhance security measures at that particular school.

According to Andrew Mitchell, Vice President of Operations and Fuel Supply at Toot'n Totum "Education is the most important resource in our communities and children deserve to learn in a school that is safe and conducive to helping them be the best they can be. If we can help foster that goal, then it's our responsibility to do so."

The program began September 1" and will last through April, 2020. All Toot'n Totum communities are participating in the program and the school districts benefiting from the Spirit Pumps will be Amarillo, River Road, Canyon, Perryton, Dalhart, Stratford, Dumas, Borger, Boise City, Pampa, Sunray, Liberal, and Hugoton, Kansas. "While we don't know yet how much each high school will receive, we are very encouraged by the initial response from our guests and all those involved. Our goal is to make a difference for each of these schools." says Mitchell.

Attending the announcement today were Principals and Superintendents from various school districts, law enforcement officials from the Amarillo and Dumas Police Departments, and Toot'n Totum representatives.

Thank you Toot'n Totum for supporting our school district!
