Wildcat Parents,
Thank you so much for helping us remain healthy and safe by wearing face coverings while at school.
If your student is sent home with COVID-19 like symptoms the individual can return to school if he/she meets the following RE-ENTRY CRITERIA:
*24 hours with no fever (without fever reducing medication); AND
*Improvement in symptoms; AND
*Negative COVID-19 test; OR
*Doctor’s note indicating an alternate diagnosis and resolution of symptoms; OR
*Remain off campus until the 10-14 day incubation period has passed
COVID-19 symptoms include:
Feeling feverish or a temperature greater than 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit
Loss of taste or smell
Cough
Difficulty breathing
Shortness of breath
Fatigue
Headache
Chills
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Shaking or exaggerated shivering
Significant muscle pain or ache
Diarrhea
Nausea or vomiting
Parents must ensure each day that they do not send a child to school if the child has COVID-19 like symptoms or is lab-confirmed with COVID-19.
