Before he stepped down as the Board President, Glenn Perky was presented with a plaque and a watch by Superintendent Richard Kelley thanking him for his 8 years of service.

We all recognize the unique roles school boards play in promoting and advocating for quality education. As the River Road ISD Board of Trustees President, Glenn has served as an adviser, decision maker, problem solver, and advocate for our schools and our students. We appreciate everything he has done for our district and our students.

In the officers election, former Board of Trustees Secretary, Amanda Brown was elected to serve as President, Trustee Butch Dawson was elected to the position of Vice President, and Trustee Dana Finley was elected as Secretary.
